To kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Boxhorn Gun Club will be holding
the Boxhorn’s Second Annual Breast Cancer Shoot Sunday, September 30, from
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Last year we raised $5,000 to donate to breast cancer Sportsmen and
sportswomen can participate in the shoots, and everyone can enjoy the food,
silent auction, vendors and music while having fun at Boxhorn’s and
supporting an important cause.”
Cost to participate in one event is $35, and $20 of each entry fee will go
to breast cancer research. The entry fee includes lunch. Cost to participate
in the second or third event is $20 each, and seven dollars of each of these
entry fees will also be donated breast cancer research.
In addition to shooting, Boxhorn’s is hosting sales representatives from
Pampered Chef kitchen tools, Leah Sofia Jewelry and Mary Kay for everyone to
enjoy. Products from these vendors will be available for individuals to
purchase, and a portion of the sales will also go to breast cancer research.
The famous Klement’s Sausages will also be present to have one of their
infamous races and be available for pictures with attendees.
Free lunch will be provided for all participants, and the first 150 shooters
will be given pink hats donated by Bass Pro Shops to wear during the event.
More than $4,500 in door prizes and silent auction items have been
generously donated by individuals and area businesses including The Green
Bay Packers, Deanna Favre Hope Foundation, The Milwaukee Wave, The Milwaukee
Bucks, Sportsman’s Warehouse, Curves in Hales Corners, Jannsen & Co.,
Pampered Chef, Papa Murphy’s Pizza, Prairieville Park, Mo’s Irish Pub, Open
Flame Restaurant, Bosch’s Tavern, Central 1 Security, Klement’s Sausage,
Brian’s Snow Plowing, Platinum Nails, That’s A'more Restaurant, Aliota's
Restaurant, Caribou Coffee, Stewps Restaurant, Sherpers Sporting Goods,
Consumer Beverage, P&H Sports Club and others.
A deejay will host music and entertainment from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and drinks
will be two for one.
